Butch Stearns is a Sports Anchor/Reporter at Boston 25 News and long-time Boston sports personality. Butch is also a regular show host on WEEI sports radio in Boston. At Boston 25, Butch has covered many of the greatest moments and championships in the history of Boston sports (six Patriots Super Bowl appearances, three Red Sox World Series, two Celtics NBA Finals, and two Bruins Stanley Cups). Butch has dedicated his career to striving to create great content and reaching audiences in ways that matter to them. As a sports broadcaster, Butch has worked for ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, and FOX. In his digital media career, Butch has worked with major brands like SAP, Intel, IBM, Rockwell and NFPA. Butch is a Braintree native and Stonehill College graduate. Butch and his family also run and maintain the Arthur F. Stearns Memorial Fund. Through this fund and the memory of their dad, Artie, the Stearns family continues to donate money annually to local families in need. The AFS memorial fund has assisted hundreds of families since it began in 1987.
