WINTER CHILL FOR A DAY
It’s going to be a cold one, even with full sun all day. Dress for morning teens and afternoon 20s. Wind chills will be 10 degrees colder with a breeze too.
Temperatures will actually rise overnight! That will set us up for rain developing Friday morning, after 7 AM. Soggy weather will continue through the afternoon. There will be a change to snow from north to south as it cools down in the evening and overnight. Our early forecast has 1-3″ of snow can be expected in the northern hills and generally north of Rt 2 into southern New Hampshire Friday night. A coating to 1″ in currently expected from Boston to MetroWest and Worcester.
WEEKEND IN VIEW
Sunshine will return Saturday with more chilly weather. Highs both days over the weekend will only reach the lower 30s locally. Keep an eye on Cape Cod for some lingering ocean effect clouds and snow showers Saturday morning.
Sunday will feature increasing clouds with the next system on the move in our direction. Snow is slated to arrive in the evening and change to rain by Monday morning.
