MANCHESTER, N.H. — A woman who sparked a missing person investigation in New Hampshire earlier this month has been arrested for child edangermet, authorities announced Wednesday.
Nicole Wise, 29, surrendered to authorities after an arrest warrant charging her with endangering the welfare of a child was issued, according to the Manchester Police Department.
Wise was reported missing on Christmas Eve 2024 and found safe in early January.
Wise was seen at her home on Orange Street in Manchester on Christmas Eve, but her boyfriend discovered her missing and found their 4-year-old child alone in their apartment when he returned from work that night, according to police.
“Concerns for Wise’s safety arose as she had left her wallet and phone behind, however, the investigation revealed that she had left voluntarily,” police said in an updated statement.
