DEDHAM, Mass. — The Boston 25 Weather team continues to keep an eye on a winter storm system that could bring snow to Massachusetts on Saturday.
As of Thursday, the primary storm appeared to be trending too far south of the region for substantial snow in southern New England, Boston 25 Meteorologist Shiri Spear said in her latest forecast.
“We’re not expecting much. Saturday snow looks light,” Spear said. “Our primary storm tracks too far south to swing in substantial moisture.”
Less than 2 inches of snow is expected across southern New England, including the Bay State, with the best chance for snowfall on Saturday morning.
“We are left with a lot of clouds, maybe some flurries, and then we’re drying out Saturday afternoon,” Spear said.
Sunday looks to be sunny with highs in the upper 30s.
