WAREHAM, Mass. — A Wareham man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man during a home invasion.
According to police, on February 7, officers responded to the Wood at Wareham Apartment Complex, located at 48 Swifts Beach Road, for a male victim who had been stabbed.
Through their investigation, officers learned that 29-year-old Ian Hill forcibly entered an apartment within the complex, armed with a knife, and violently attacked the male victim.
Hill fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and was transported to Tobey Hospital.
The following day, officers located Hill and arrested him. He is facing charges of Home Invasion and two counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Hill was held on $25,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on February 10, 2025, at Wareham 4th District Court.
