Video shows masked suspects ripping box from hands of Harvard FedEx worker

HARVARD, Mass. — Authorities are searching for two masked suspects caught on camera forcibly taking a package from a FedEx worker Thursday afternoon.

Officers responding to a report of an armed robbery around 12:43 p.m. on Stow Road found a victim who claimed a white, late-model Acura TLX with dark tinted windows and a Connecticut license plate bearing partial letters “BN” pulled alongside his FedEx van, according to Harvard Police.

The victim said while he was carrying a package for delivery, two masked men got out of the Acura and ripped the box from his hands.

Video shows one of the suspects sneaking up from behind and grabbing the package right from the victim’s shoulder.

Police say the suspects made verbal threats to the victim implying they were armed, although no gun was ever shown. The victim was uninjured during the robbery.

Investigators suggest the suspects may have been specifically targeting this particular delivery, as a neighbor reported noticing the Acura parked near the house for several hours before the robbery.

“We want to emphasize the importance of community vigilance in light of this incident,” Chief James Babu said. “We urge all residents to stay alert and report any unusual or suspicious activity immediately. Our officers are working diligently to identify the suspects and bring them to justice. The safety of our community remains our top priority.”

Anyone with information about the incident, or who may have seen the suspect vehicle in the area before or after the robbery is urged to contact Harvard Police at 978-456-1212.
