DURHAM, N.H. — A local college student is facing charges for allegedly possessing child porn in his dorm room.
Mohammed F. Abughosh, 18, of Salem, New Hampshire, was charged with eight counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.
Durham Police say they executed a search warrant at Abughosh’s University of New Hampshire dorm room on Friday and seized multiple electronic devices.
The search warrant follows a three-month long investigation by members of the Durham Police Department, University of New Hampshire Police Department, and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.
He is currently being held at the Strafford County House of Corrections awaiting a bail determination hearing.
The investigation is ongoing and police say additional charges may be filed at a later time.
