Town-by-town totals: These Massachusetts communities received the most snow

DEDHAM, Mass. — Many woke up to snow as a Sunday night storm brought several inches to communities across Massachusetts.

Behind the storm, a blast of arctic air will sweep through the region, dropping temperatures dramatically. According to Boston 25 meteorologists, highs are only in the teens on Tuesday and Wednesday, with morning temperatures dipping into the single digits.

Here are the latest snowfall totals from reports to the National Weather Service as of 6:30 a.m.:

Essex County:

  • Haverhill: 6 inches
  • Manchester: 5.2 inches
  • Gloucester: 5 inches
  • Topsfield: 5 inches
  • Lynn: 4 inches
