BOSTON — A suspect wanted on warrants was taken into custody after an hourslong standoff on Friday.
Boston Police say they responded to a residence on West Main Street in Mattapan for a report of a barricaded subject.
Officers and Boston SWAT negotiators swarmed the densely populated neighborhood.
After several hours, police say they took the suspect into custody without incident. The name of the suspect or what charges they’ll be facing were not immediately available.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
