South Boston woman arrested by BPD cadet for larceny

BOSTON — A South Boston woman was arrested on Tuesday due to the sharp eye of a Boston Police Department cadet.

While delivering toys to children in South Boston, the cadet spotted the woman stealing packages.

The thief, later identified as 34-year-old Kerri Flynn of South Boston, has become notorious among the locals of the city.

Police further investigated Flynn and discovered two bags, filled with unopened stolen packages. The police database also revealed Flynn had several outstanding warrants for her arrest, including charges of shoplifting and stolen property.

Flynn was placed into custody and is expected to be arraigned in South Boston Court.
