Riverside Natural Foods Inc., creators of the MadeGood granola bar, have voluntarily issued a recall because of a potential piece of metal in one of the bars.
Specific granola bars that are being recalled include:
- Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
- Mixed Berry Granola Bars
- Strawberry Granola Bars
- Cookies & Crème Granola Bars
- Chocolate Banana Granola Bars
- Chocolate Drizzled Birthday Cake Granola Bars
- Chocolate Drizzled Cookie Crumble Granola Bars
- Chocolate Drizzled Vanilla Granola Bars
All products being recalled were produced from January 2024 to November 2024.
Since the recall, Riverside conducted an investigation on the possible cause of the incident and has since remedied it. They have tested new processes to ensure that an incident like this doesn’t happen again.
Riverside is also asking for stores to remove these products from their shelves, and letting costumers know that they can return their product for a full refund.
