More snow on the way for Sunday night: How much will fall?

DEDHAM, Mass. — The Boston 25 Weather team is tracking more snow to wrap up the weekend and kick off the work week.

Saturday’s snow will taper off by mid-afternoon, with a light coating to 1″ of snow possible.

Sunday will start off dry and chilly, with highs only reaching the low 30s. According to Boston 25 Meteorologist Vicki Graf, the next snow system is expected to arrive Sunday night. Snow will begin between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., moving out early Monday morning before most people wake up.

Southeastern Massachusetts can expect a coating to 1″ of snow, while the rest of the region should see 1-3 inches.

“This isn’t a whole lot of snow but you still may want to give yourself as little extra time early Monday to remove that snow off the car,” Graf said in her morning forecast.

Monday will be a bit warmer, with highs reaching the mid-40s, which should help melt some of the snow.
