Investigation underway after unresponsive person found behind Plymouth pub

PLYMOUTH, Mass. — An investigation is underway after an unresponsive person was found behind a pub in Plymouth, authorities announced Tuesday morning.

Officers responding to The Galway Pub at 58 Court Street found an unresponsive male behind the establishment, according to the Plymouth Police Department.

The person, whose name hasn’t been released, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of “head injuries.”

In an update shared on X two-and-a-half hours later, Plymouth police wrote, “It appears to be a medical episode and no assaults took place.”

There were no additional details immediately available.
