MILTON, Mass. — A police investigation is underway after a woman was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in Milton Thursday morning.
Milton police officers responded to Belvoir Road around 7:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.
Responding officers found a 43-year-old Milton woman with multiple gunshot wounds inside a car.
She was rushed to a Boston-area hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made but Milton police say they don’t believe the shooting was a random attack.
The investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing.
