Meet Cleo, a 3-year-old rescue who was named Pet of the Month at the Polkadog Bakery.
Cleo was rescued from a home where she suffered terrible neglect.
She is gentle, sweet, affectionate, and has since had all of her vet care. Cleo weighs a healthy 82 pounds was spayed on January 17.
She knows many commands such as sit, down, wait and shake and is well-behaved in the car. She also loves food — making her fun and easy to train!
For potential living situations, Cleo would be best suited in a home where she is the only dog. She was friendly with two male beagles in her foster home but reactive toward a large female Shepherd.
She was also a little too interested in a few guinea pigs and a parakeet, so Cleo would be best not living with tiny animals.
