TAUNTON, Mass. — A motor vehicle crash between two teenagers left a 14-year-old suffering from serious injuries Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
Taunton Police say a Toyota Corolla and a Kayo mini-motorcycled were involved in a collision at the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Silverwood Drive around 3 p.m.
The driver of the mini-motorcycle, a 14-year-old Taunton boy, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the Toyota, a 17-year-old Taunton girl, was uninjured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Taunton Police. It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
