Boston police officer arrested in connection with alleged domestic disturbance on Christmas Day

HULL, Mass. — A Boston police officer was arrested on Christmas Day following an alleged domestic disturbance at his Hull residence.

Terrence Murray was charged with one count of assault and battery on a family/household member, one count of improper storage of a firearm, one count of vandalizing property, and two counts of Class E drug possession.

According to a Boston Police spokesperson, Murray is a four-year department veteran assigned to District 3.

“The officer is currently on Administrative Duty and the Boston Police Bureau of Professional Standards is investigating the incident,” the spokesperson said.

Murray was arraigned Thursday in Hingham District Court where he pleaded not guilty.

His bail was set at $500 with conditions and he will return to court in February 2025.
