Boston police issue silver-alert for missing 73-year-old man (Boston Police Department)

BOSTON — UPDATE: Boston Police have located Wayne Alleyne.

Boston police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 73-year-old man suffering from Dementia.

Wayne Alleyne of Dorchester was last seen around 10:45 AM on Sunday in the area of Corona Street. It may be possible that Alleyne is in the area of Old Colony Avenue and D Street.

He is described as a Black male, around 5′6″ tall, approximately 150 pounds, with grey hair and clean-shaven. It is currently unknown what he was last wearing, but may have had overalls on.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is advised to contact 911 or Area C-11 Detectives at 617-343-4335, or anonymously do so by the CrimeStoppers Tip Line AT 1-800 (494) -TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
