Apparent homicide under investigation on the North Shore, DA says

LYNN, Mass. — Police are investigating an apparent homicide in Lynn on Monday night.

According to Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker, officers responding to a home on Stanwood Street around 6:30 p.m. for a well-being check found a 48-year-old Lynn man dead, with apparent signs of trauma.

His identity is not being released at this time and there have been no reports of any arrests.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine a cause of death for the victim.

The investigation remains ongoing by the Essex DA’s Office and Lynn Police.

No further information was immediately available.
