GRAFTON, Mass. — Two 18-year-old teens are facing charges after police raided two Grafton homes on Thursday, police said.
Investigators seized nearly $38,000 in cash and “a significant amount” of drugs including Class C and Class D controlled substances, police said in a statement on Friday.
Police on Friday did not release the names of the teens who were arrested or the addresses of the homes that were seized.
The two 18-year-old men are charged with possession with intent to distribute Class C substance, possession with intent to distribute Class D substance, distribution of Class C substance and distribution of Class D substance, and conspiracy to violate drug laws, police said.
“This is a great example of strong investigative and police work as well as collaboration between multiple agencies,” Grafton Police Chief Neil Minardi said in a statement. “We appreciate the dedication, coordination and professionalism of all the officers involved in bringing this investigation to a safe conclusion.”
On Thursday, members of the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force, led by Grafton Sergeant Liam O’Rourke and Officer Coryn Dias, executed search warrants at two separate homes in Grafton, Minardi said.
Members of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council, a group consisting of more than 60 municipal law enforcement agencies, assisted Grafton Police in executing the warrants.
Grafton is a town southeast of Worcester. The town’s population was 19,664 at the 2020 census.
