Plan on brisk weather again Tuesday. Gusts 25-35 mph continue along the coast, Cape, and Islands and will keep it feeling cooler. Highs will run around 10 degrees below average, only reaching the mid and upper 50s.
The remnants of Ian are spinning around to our south. As it drifts northward a bit, expect scattered showers Tuesday. We have the best chance for a period of rain in southeast Massachusetts.
The chance for rain will grow Tuesday night into Wednesday. Wet weather is likely at times for all of southern New England, though it will be steadiest over the Cape and Islands.
LATE WEEK WARM UP
Winds will finally shift Thursday and prompt a warm up into the 70s. Best enjoy it, as the warmth will be short lived. A cold front will come through Friday night with a spot shower and cool things down for the weekend.
