“Dear Evan Hansen” stars Ben Platt and Noah Galvin announced their engagement on Friday.
Platt captioned his post saying, “he agreed to hang out forever,” according to People Magazine.
Galvin wrote, “I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours,” according to People Magazine.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Platt and Galvin both played the lead role in the Broadway production of “Dear Evan Hansen.” Platt won a Tony Award as the first in the role. Galvin succeeded him.
Galvin confirmed his relationship with Platt in May 2020 on the podcast, Little Known Facts, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Platt had explained on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” that they were both friends before they got romantically involved.
Platt has also starred in the first two “Pitch Perfect” movies, “Ricki and the Flash,” “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” the on-screen adaptation of “Dear Evan Hansen,” and “The Politician.” Galvin has appeared on “The Real O’Neals,” and “The Good Doctor,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
