Boston Police asking for help with missing person’s case from 1979

BOSTON — Authorities are asking for assistance with a missing person’s case from over 40 years ago in a Boston neighborhood.

Boston Police say Joseph Patrick Breen was last seen in South Boston on November 12, 1979 and hasn’t been heard from since.

At the time, Breen was 23 years old, 5′6″ and 140 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about his disappearance is asked to contact the Boston Police Unsolved Squad at 617-343-4470.
