Original Dunkin’ restaurant giving away free coffee for a year on Wednesday

QUINCY, Mass. — Dunkin’ will be giving away free coffee for a year on Wednesday when it officially unveils the recent remodel of its original location in Quincy.

A commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Canton-based coffee chain’s restaurant at 543 Southern Artery at 10:15 a.m. with exclusive giveaways and games.

A total of 100 lucky customers who visit the revamped store after 11 a.m. will be surprised with free coffee for a year.

There will also be a Dunkin-themed pop-a-shot basketball game, an interactive photo booth, appearances by Kiss 108′s Billy Costa and Mikey V, and photo opportunities with mascots including Dunkin’s Cuppy, Blades from the Boston Bruins, and Pat the Patriot.

This renovated location will feature new in-store innovations, like a cold beverage tap system, while maintaining many of the location’s unique classic elements, including counter seating, an icon wall outlining the brand’s logo evolution, and the iconic sign paying homage to the location’s history.
