Popular Randolph venue announces closure in 2023

RANDOLPH, Mass. — A popular Randolph venue announced on Thursday it’s closing its doors for good, effective next year.

Lombardo’s, a locale famous for hosting weddings, proms, and other social events, wrote in a Facebook post that they’ll be closing their Randolph location in September of 2023.

“We are honored to be the home where countless memories have been made,” the Lombardo family said in a statement.

The function hall has been run by the family for nearly 60 years, boasting New England’s largest chandelier and grand spiral staircase.

“The business has grown and evolved over the years and we are proud to be in our fourth generation of ownership,” the family continued. “We are now at the point where the business is evolving and changing and with that, we announce Lombardo’s in Randolph will be closing next year, effective September 2023.”

The family says that Lombardo’s will still be producing high quality events until the day they close.

“With change comes opportunity,” the Lombardo family wrote. “We are focused on creating the next chapter for our family’s business centered around hospitality and creating memorable experiences.”
