Jurassic World Live Tour roars into New England this week

BOSTON — The Jurassic World Live Tour roars into New England this week with dozens of shows planned in the coming days.

Action-packed, live shows are slated to be performed at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, the Agganis Arena in Boston, and the DCU Center in Worcester.

Shows begin Thursday in Providence and run through March 26. Boston will host shows from March 31 through April 9. Shows in Worcester run from April 14 through April 16.

So, what can you expect at the show? Jurassic World says viewers will encounter an array of dinosaurs including a raptor, stegosaurus, triceratops, and the mighty tyrannosaurus rex.

A tease on Jurassic World’s website reads, “Your trip to Isla Nublar takes a terrifying, unexpected turn when Indominus rex escapes and causes chaos in the park...Join forces with a team of scientists to unravel a corrupt plan and save Jeanie, a Troodon dinosaur, from a terrible fate.”

The shows also feature an environmental seating section on the arena floor that puts viewers in the middle of the adventure.

“The show was very interactive. The dinosaurs looked ahhhhmazing and so real,” one person said in a review. Another person added, “Great show for every age! Loved every minute!”
