Celtics announce Al Horford will be available for Game 2 vs. Heat, Derrick White ruled out

The Boston Celtics will be without one of their key role players when they take on the Heat in Miami in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday night.

Guard Derrick White has been ruled out of the game due to personal reasons, according to the team.

White is averaging more than 24 minutes per game this postseason.

Center Al Horford was initially listed as questionable to play, but the team later confirmed he was available for action. Guard Marcus Smart is listed as probable.

Game 2 is slated to begin at 8:30 p.m.
